I just got it aligned though. You think I should go back and ask them to redo it? And yeah, my tires were pumped up pretty high. I was also completely joking for asking if I could still drive on them. I'm an idiot for letting it get this bad. I seriously could have really hurt myself or others.

RotarySupra: I had my engine rebuilt at Lucky 7 for exactly the same reason as yours, the leaking coolant seal. I've put ~18,000 miles on the rebuild so far, and its running great. Lucky 7 did a great job, and was about $800 bucks cheaper than other quotes I got, AND I threw in a lot of upgrades. I highly recommend at least looking into them for your engine work, in addition to any other general maintenance you need done.

 

RotarySupra: If you have the other motor ready to drop in then do that. But from what it sounds like you have a really nasty coolant seal leak, and unless you name is Dave and you rebuild your **** in one night then...yeah take it to lucky 7 They also did some work on my car. (A motor swap)

 

Well guys, more good news/ bad news. Good news is we found a renter. Bad news is that we have to be out of here by 4/1/09. Hopefully I'll catch at least one more meet before we leave.

well... the tire damage was more than likely caused before your alignment.. so your probubly good on the alignment then... just keep an eye on the wear of the new tires just to be safe

Good news on the motor, I should have it back by the end of this month. Minor damages were done. So I'm prepping the car, and the parts as we speak. To bad I couldn't get it done for Steve Kan tuning. I still have a plan to build my own motor, and have it on the shelf for a back up.
