Socal Rx Club at 24Hrs of Lemons

So a few of the Board of Directors of Socal RX club (the people who help put on Seven Stock, Mazfest, BBQ's etc.) decided to run a FC at this years 24 Hrs of Lemons at thunderhill Raceway.

Details on the car:
S5 FC with a S4 n/a engine with 120k on the clock, cut springs, gutted.

Not counting our penalties, we placed 44 out of 114 cars.

The car ran fine, no major problems. Just got the tranny stuck in reverse and 1st gear, were able to muscle it out though.

Here are a few pictures of the event:

And the crew:

From left to right: Gary Salva, Mike Scott, Jeremy Romero, Tim Lui, Alonso, Alvaro Garcia

More pictures can be found here: http://www.picsbyalvaro.com/main.php...3289&g2_page=1

I will try to have some video up sometime next week.

Here's a quick video of the peoples curse award: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nkw6zsXRIpQ

Kent: I think a toilet seat would be some kind of safety issue.

You can probably put a toilet on the PS side.

Hell, if you **** up and get black flagged or something, they'll weld a pig or a rooster on your roof!
