Let the paint settle for ~3 weeks. Then wetsand it. Do not wash the car within the first 3 weeks, unless a bird takes a dump on your paint or you get tree sap on it or purple drank, which will stain white paint. Paint looks decent for $1500, but it's white!

3 weeks? SS is in 3 weeks I might just go over it with a microfiber cloth. Well the paint with parts and labor was $2000 all together but now that I see it and how much work was involved, it was so cheap!!! We're talking:

-Removing front bumper
-Trimming front support for fitment
-removal of headlights, motors and misc
-removal of door panels, handles, locks and hatch
-removal of all moldings
-painting 2 colors on specific parts
-paint, clear, buff
-installation of kit

Yeah its only white but even for that, it's a great deal!
On the rear bumper? I'll leave it. I still think it'll look weird. I'm not one to have a body kit flush or **** like that. What happens if it breaks? Too much work.

 

Oh ****. 7 STOCK! Then clean her up a few days before the event. 2 weeks should be enough time for paint to settle. It's not like you're polishing up some 2 hour old wet paint with fingerprints in it krylon style. I'll bring some stickers so we can put them on your new paint.

 

yep I'm gonna have the car detailed then i'm gonna wash under the hood. 2 weeks will be plenty. rest of the stuff gets painted today so i'm good.

Ummm no more stickers thx. we all know what happens when you peel them off LOL.
