Looks good Eddie. Thought about having them shave the holes where emblems were in back? Gives it a super smooth look and is a lot easier to keep clean. That's on my someday list...

Are they painting the door jams and edges under the hatch?

What's up with the front fenders? Different primer?

 

yeah I was thinking of shaving those wholes but I kinda like the old school look of them and it offsets the other black details the car will have... still debating

the door jams and hatch will also be painted.

I guess the fender was repainted and they used a newer primer

 

goodluck with the paint job. i was kinda digging the primer color LOL
im doing all that crap myself, so, well see how that turns out.
and as far as filling in those holes, do it, it looks amazing afterwards. you can always put the badges back with some 3m double sided tape...............

if you notice new cars, they dont put holes in the panels when they put on badges, it ends up being WAY cheaper for them, 1 less machine to do superfluous work.
either use 3m double sided tape or talk to some dealerships and see what they use.
ive already gotton rid of all the stupid holes they put in the fc body via my mig and some copper (used to prevent blowing through the very thing metal).
i want to paint mine sooooooooooooo bad, but ive just started on my project.
so, for those of us not going to 7stock, how bout some pics dude?

i paid 1300 for my body and paint jahb, and it took 1 whole year to get done. I missed 7 stock because of it. ;( i hope u dont suffer the same fate. ill pray for u brotha...

A YEAR!!!!???? OMG dude! I was already told the car will be done the end of next week but I told him to take his time and do it just the way I want He's really good with communicating ideas and requests from customers.

Went to see the car on Saturday and he now has the entire car sanded and was finishing up filling the dents on the passenger side. Overall I'm very pleased with his ability to work so fast and to do things right (so far). he will finish prepping the fiberglass pieces today and tomorrow and will begin prepping for paint by the middle of the week. I will post pics once it's ready for primer...

 

Are you having him touch up the wheel centers too? Just a thought...
