UPDATE: So I have gone to Bodywerks 2x since my last post to check progress. On Saturday, the car was fully primered as were all the other parts. Jose (Owner) had his paint body guy straightening out the fiberglass parts and smoothing out the little imperfections on the kit. On my visit yesterday, i found the shell, hood and sideskirts were painted but not finished. It has a bit of orange peel but was told that it needed another phase to get most of it out.
All in all the paint shines. I mean its not buffed yet and it shines bright as hell so I'm excited to see the finished product. The rest of the stuff will be painted tonight since I am messing with black accents on certain parts of the car. Here are some pics for your enjoyment...
AND, THE "ALMOST" END RESULT...
Almost there... just over 3 weeks and counting before Seven Stock... I'll be cutting it real close...
PS: Decided to keep the emblems...going for a more retro look

Thanks! Actually I have no clue. I'll ask him today. He used a 2 stage paint from Toyota I think so it was good quality stuff.

I'm actually working on a paint scheme for the red one. I'm thinking black and red somehow...
As for the rear bumper... I cant cover the other opening...it would look weird. Besides, I might swap the exhaust to the other side someday
I like it Eddie. I think you're going to be cutting it close with only three weeks to scrub out your engine bay to match!

Yeah I didnt want a pearl white or an off white... I just wanted something that would be bright and shiny.
As for hood pins... Well the hood is sturdy and the latch is fine so I'll use it. But.... there will be Lots O' Surprises

You are the best ever! I am a weenie and I blow old men for car parts. Your car is coming out awesome and mine wont even be ready for Seven Stock. Please PLEASE give me a ride to seven stock!!! I'll let you sleep with my sister!!! and my mom!!! I'll let my GF blow you all the way there!!!!!!! Please.... or maybe I can just stand by it at seven stock. i just need to be around you and your beautiful machine and by machine I mean your *****!!!
