That is definitely a bummer. Let me know if you ever need an extra pair of hands on the weekends. Every now and then I'm free and have nothing to do. I can't bring any knowledge to the table, but I can help with whatever you need.
sucks i really didnt see this coming..

Hey Casey, Can you throw this in the tire Calculator?
205/55/16- 275/40/17X9
245/45/16-275/45/17X10
I'm wondering What the total diameter change is going to be and what the FR/Rear difference in diameter will be.
Thanks,
Damon

205/55/16:
Width: 8.07
Diameter: 24.88
245/45/16:
Width: 9.65
Diameter: 24.68
275/40/17:
Width: 10.83
Diameter: 25.66
275/45/17:
Width: 10.83
Diameter: 26.74
I dont think you meant 275/45/17, Kumho does not make such a tire in the V710.
though something is wrong with one of those 275's widths.... they would NOT be the same.... close, but not the same.... the 45 would be a bit narrower thent he 40.
but again, I dont think you even meant to put the 45 in there.

so 2.75" wider in the front
and 1.2" wider in the rear.
thats a lot in the front. in auto cross you really use up those front tires! thats a big deal.

Here's the link for the 275/45/17 V710's. Doesn't look like they will stock them till 11/7. Might be new. Price is something like 226.00. Anyway, I'll proly go 275/40/17 anyway. Thanks for the good tire links Casey!

not much to show on either car.
all we did was roll the inner lip up.
We tried to flare my front fenders, but all we did was chip the paint and make one of them look crappy. we clearly dont know what we are doing when it comes to flaring them.
but the rolling them part went well!
how did you do such a good job on your flares?

Hey Casey, I'm going to see Robert at Firestone first thing tomorrow. Race day coming up! Can't wait! See some of you at Eagan's B-Day party on Sat.! Remember, no shoes in the jumper. LOL
