Hey guys, I won't make it today. I just got home, and I really don't feel like driving in the rain. I'll just be spinning out :\

See you all at January's race.

Jesse- Thank you very very much! That was the most fun I've had in a long time! Your car is stupid fast. Very fun on strait-aways and throught he slaloms. Sorry bout the cone bruise!
Here's a few pics that won't be nearly as cool as Me-Shells.

Haha, yes. I was not sure of what I had to do. I locked up the brakes and plowed straight into some cones. A cone went under my car and I was dragging it, so I stopped. The cone worker told me to keep going. I was confused at this point, I did not know if I should limp out the rest of the way or run it.

At the road course like WSIR if something like this happens, you limp your way back into the hot pit, and let people pass. But I saw cars still coming so I went for it, and even started going backwards at one point.

I was like what did I do? You can see in one of the pics I was confused and had to turn around, i was going the wrong way. I ran a 9x.xxx and got the slowest time

What springs are you running? It made a world of difference to get rid of my rear swaybar. Not nearly as much drifty drifty. Also, I think we all know you have way too much power to weight for 205's in the rear.

gotcha.
are you still running a rear sway bar.

the miata comes with a pretty heavy oversteer problem.
everything you do to a miata (well everything I have done to my miata) has been to remove over steer.

we do NOT run a rear sway bar at all.
we run a super stiff front sway bar
front springs are SUPER stiff and rear springs are only mild stiff. (700/375 compared to the stock 120/100)
31/26 air pressure
.... etc

There is a picture of you hugging that cone pretty close also. I commented to Michelle when we were edditing the pictures on how nice you took that one turn... let me see if I can find it....

a cone under the car is no big deal, continue on like you normally would. (fast)

well that sucks you didnt take your 4th lap. you shoulda just asked for an instructor run or something. its nice to see how fast someone else can drive your car. or at least have and instructor sit in the passenger seat and help guid you.

anyways, you did just fine. very few come out and set th track on fire their first event. you ran a 65.3 and you only had 3 laps.... not bad man. thats a respectable time.

get rid of that rear sway bar, lower the rear air pressure a couple pounds and you will be much happier.
