Folks, I just wanted to reiterate that this isn't a cattle call to just be a volunteer and disappear for the morning and not help us out.

WE NEED REAL HELP. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS DIRECTING TRAFFIC, LINING CARS UP, YELLING AT PEOPLE. If you can't yell, don't apply. We need to set everyone up at staging without any fuss. This is a new venue and it's going to be a real challenge this year.

 

Okay sign me up! I have laryngitis tho.

SoCal RX Club, i might consider it again this year even though i was planning on joining the caravan this year. but the fact that it is a new venue and many (if not everyone)'s first time at the fairplex in pomona. i shall see if others would like to help out as well!

 

What time do volunteers have to arrive?

 

We'll let you know the exact time during the volunteer meeting, but expect it to be around the 6am mark.

well hell I was born and raised in NYC yelling would be no big deal .. lol

But honestly how long will the volunteers be needed?

 

Ouch, that's like four hours before I normally wake up, not including drive time from OC to Irwindale. Sorry

 

All morning to help with staging, control traffic flow, and parking. A bit during the day for the misc things that pop up (will be called on radio), and in the afternoon to control cars / speeds when we start letting cars leave.

You'll have plenty of time to enjoy the event through out the day, as well as get a behind scene view on how we get things done.
