It runs!

After what seemed like hundreds of hours wrenching I finally started it up tonight. What a great feeling it was when it started on the first try. One puff a smoke to clear all the engine lube and she ran smooth as silk.

Tommorow she comes off the jack stands after 8 long months! Another FD on the road again!

People who don't own RX-7's just don't understand.

Good job!

2 fresh FDs back on the road in Sac area. What are the odds? I put 25 miles on it today between showers. Runs real good. It sure was hard to keep it under 4000 rpm though so I set the rev limiter on the PFC to 4k.

Also, I installed the poly motor mounts from the group buy. Too much vibs! Going back to stock mounts when I get enough energy to get underneath it again.

Let me know when you pull those poly mounts. We will probably want to buy them off of you.
