sounds awesome guys (minus the accident). I ended up doing the auto-x on sunday, though as soon as I got there I was thinking I should've done the track... d'oh!

but then again when it started raining, I was glad I was auto-xing and not on the track, haha... that and there were so few people out there, I got over 30 runs in good times!!

hey 03redz06, how fast did you hit on the straight, i was in the widebody fc in front of you in the video, but i dont have a speedo right now. i want to know how fast i was going.

 

on the second session which is where you came in on the video, i was hitting close to 140, by the third and fourth sessions i stayed in it a bit longer and was hitting around 145.

you were shooting out some crazy flames man, at one point when i was behind you i backed off cause i thought my front bumper was going to catch on fire
nice ride man.

 

 

Youtube keeps making my videos look crappy. I gotta mess with some different settings and/or possibly try them out on Vimeo to see if they look better before uploading all my footage. If anyone has any good tips for great looking youtube videos, let me know!

My cousin and I arent on that list since we rented our transponders halfway into the event but were located in the orphaned list: http://www.speedventures.com/results/orphans.aspx. I'm AMB 28 WHO and my cousin in his CTS-V is AMB 29 WHO.

My cousin and I both did our fastest lap times in the same session. Heres the picture I snapped with my phone of our times:

 

2:02.657 was my best time.

 

nice, so your cousin is the one with the cts v. that thing was also pretty quick, he would keep pulling on me on the straights, what does he have done to it if you dont mind me asking.

I know what you mean about being left in the dust on the straights My cousin's car is completely stock. I believe it's an '09 model which he just bought and hasnt received his plates yet. He's a newbie with this being his 2nd track day ever. He was a hardcore drag racer (has old muscle cars) until I got him to try out a track day and I dont think he will be doing much drag racing from now on

I hope I can get close to your lap times with my current setup. What tires are you running? Any mods done to your car

nice, ls3 supercharged i believe. same thing with me, i was always into drag racing, i still do it every once in awhile, but im hooked on road racing, turns are just so much fun.

you will man, what do you have done to your car?

motor wise, i got intake, throttle body, intake manifold, a babe cam that all the v8 guys give me **** about cause its so small, full exhaust tuned putting down 430rwhp with injectors maxed out at 105%. ill be going back hopefully this week to get it retuned with new injectors and some nitrous. cant wait to see what nitrous feels like.

i ditched the stock leaf spring setup and went with some coil overs, tires are nitto nt01's.

im going to try to get some sway bars for the next event, and start messing with the coil over settings. i still need practice, im know where near the potential of the car.

 

since it was the last session, i drove a little more aggressive. i was trying the whole day to break into the high 1 min times, and damn im happy i achieved it
