Yea we got it figured out on the way home. It was running really lean at the track, and I got it to richen up on the way home. We just need to tune it again, but I think we fixed the problem. It was better to salvage the day and have a little fun, then to have it break at the track.

I ran a bunch of 2:20s running a top speed of about 90, and bald Nexen tires.

Thanks bro. You guys were doing some great runs. I got my FD coming out next time. Just waiting for a few parts and Glenn is going due the magic tune for it.

 

My best time was 2:10, I was going for 2:09 or 2:08 on the last session where I did her in. I was catching a lot of people on the 1st turn of the oval section, haha.

Glenn's tune once again performed outstanding, the car ran flawlessly all day.

My fastest time that I know of was a 2:02. I dont know if I ran anything faster since I rented the transponder with 2 run sessions to go and kept running into very slow traffic, COUGHNSX'sCOUGHandCorvettesCOUGHCOUGH.

Good thing you have many parts you can salvage. You'll come back with a much better car Cant wait to go back out on the track with you

 

gotta agree with him, you guys were running great, i had a hard time trying to keep up on the straights with some of you guys, those things are monsters and sound like freaking jets when the turbos start spooling. lil red, once again man, you got one sick ride there. and mike that ride of yours is definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with, cant wait to see that thing with the new goodies.

btw those of you wondering who i am, i was the one in the red c5 corvette zo6 that most of you flew by

Welcome to the forum! Im not sure if I ever ran into you out on the track. I dont remember passing any Z06s but did pass a few Corvettes in the infield only to get passed by those same guys out on the Roval

i believe i waved you by in the beginning of the first session, i remember cause i believe you were the only white third gen out there if im not mistaken.

but i do know what you are talking about, there was a lot of traffic out there, i remember catching up and passing a couple of c6 zo6's out there but on the long straight i had some trouble keeping up with them unless i was in higher rpms coming out of the corners.
