Saw a Red FD Twice Yesterday in Newport Beach Really nice with a good sound Exhaust and a SoCal 7 club decal. The second time I happen to be rolling so I followed the red FD. He pulled into his Garage and got out. I stopped and yelled "Hey"........He looks and reluctantly walks over to my car. I asked if he was on the RX7 Club and he answered Yes. "who are you" I asked Turns out it was RX7_Fanatic. After I told him who I was He said, "I know you...you have the weird Avatar"

My Vert is OK just a little dinged here an there. But I have my '01 Trooper.

I didn't make a post but. I went into a corner at really high speeds......maybe 60 when the sign said 25. I have done this corner many times at that speed but I think that it was just getting dark and the road may have had moisture or maybe I braked too hard but the rear end came around on me. I tried to turn into it but it was too much and so I decided I was just going to spin all the way around. I almost pulled it off but there was a light pole in the inside of the corner. and my front bumper just clipped it as I went by and it spun me around about 1 1/2 times. It knocked the front end over about 4 inches. Took out both Fenders, the Fiberglass reinforcment, the front bumper cover, the Right hand Blinker, FTP, Fog light, Head light assembly. Also (if you ever took off your front Bumper cover) the two bars that connect the very nose piece to the Fenders.

I have replaced everything with the exception of the Fiberglass reinforcement bumper.

Today I went a picked up the red front bumper cover from the body shop...Yes, my car is white....so now the Bumper cover is totally refurbished and sprayed white....it looks great. I had it done at J & C Body, 825 W. route 66, Glendora (626) 852-2999, Xavier......$200 bux.

Funny, I think I spent $400 bux on everything and the Body shop(s) gave me estimates of $4500. They said the frame was bent. I straitened everything by hand once I disassembled the front end. The frame parts were easy to bend, I found two white fenders and two white Headlights and had the car back on the road in one afternoon. I had a good time.
