Of course man lol. How can you mechanically set "shim points" on a running motor using VTEC? It was so far fetched I thought it was obvious I wasn't being serious.

Unless they have a device that creates artificial compression by throwing rocks in the intake or something lol.

Anyways, good info from you though about compression formulas!

Yeah i get geeky about details when im arguing... and i already ran across one guy who thought it was possible, so its not too far fetched there would be another person who did too! lol


i did look into this to be 100% sure and actually they could change the CR by crating so much overlap that the intake and exhaust would be open during the compression stroke- but that only lowers compression- which would take away hp if you didn't change anything else(add a turbo with thier laptop maybe ?)...
