Dude, it is so fucked up! Only ATA people got hired, I talked to 8 (8 people out of 8) people that got hired, and all of them were ATA ex-flight attendants and left with no job because their company went down. Me and 2 other friends were one of the few that made it to the second interview. WE did pass the first group interview.

But honestly I feel that they were really really unfair about the whole equal opportunity bull. I know I did really good on the 1 on 1, but from the start of the interview it seemed that she did not care about me.

I did not get hired.

Sorry to hear man. But did you really expect them to hire noobs over people that had experience? That is what matters in the world. Experience. That and knowing people. Next time offer your body.

Experienced flight attendants > No experience, untrained, not certified newbies.
How is that unfair?
There are specific programs/schools out there for this sort of thing. Get yourself pretrained and certified before you actually do an interview.

 

yeah, that is what I thought, people with experince > noobs. I mean its obvious. And they gave us the interview because of the whole: "Equal opportunity bullshit"

Well, the schooling and training would have been provided if you pass 3 interviews. It would have been provided as in room and board would have been fully paid as well as classes and tests until graduation.

But really? there is schooling to be a flight attendant? gotta look into that! thank you Roy!
