why not spend this good chunk of change on something interesting, i mean the z06 is a kill machine but theres plenty of other cars out there, that are plenty of fun. why not an older lotus esprit? newish 911? lotus exige? z4? or those sick *** z3 hatchbacks. i just thought i'd give you my thoughts on it.
Lotus Esprit....OLD, the idea is to get something newer like model year 2000 and up. Exige's are too expensive, and z3's and z4's are gay. Can't afford a 911 either and for the money they just don't perform.

Uhh.... totally different. The R1 and touring share the same engine, the Z06 has an LS6 and the base has an LS1. 405 HP stock, which when dyno tuned in stock form was found to be 20HP underated so 425HP. And 3110 lbs.
and my therory behind the evo/sti whatever is that it is NEW, FAST and 4-door if you want to haul ur buddies around or posibly a family in the future...

i bet you'd get hassled by cops more in an evo cuz ITS A KIDS CAR! most of the people that drive evos are younger and police know this. i bet if there's a z06 and an evo both driving the same the evo will be the one to get pulled over.

And Z06's and NON Z06's have the corvette name in comman only. Everything eles is different. The fenders are flared, the suspentions diferent, the brakes are bigger, the wheels and tires are larger. The motor is larger, and makes more power, the interior is diferent. The body panels are made from different materials to be lighter and stronger. The interior is diferent as well. And thats just the things I remember off the top of my head.
