I have used both they are close on most prices. But every now and then you find awsome deals.

I used to be in a pro halo2 clan that was sponserd by mountaindew and all kinds of other companys. I used to play in lan tournaments and online tournaments. I used to always hover in the 35-38 range on slayer online ranked. But then again I never boosted or any of that crap.

I never got paid for playing games, but used to get paid to skate. Although I think playing games would have been easyier on my body

I'll post more later. but i have to go right now.
My cousin would do anything for a job like that. Did it pay the bills?

well, it worked like this. because my main sponsor was a LAN center (well i moved through a couple) I was paid $14 for every hour i spent playing my sponsor game. on top of that, my meals were paid for. I got unlimited play time at that LAN. Our LAN also paid for all of our travel expenses.

Basicly, yes, it paid the bills, i played games about 14 hours out of the day, sometimes more. 6, 7 days a week.

I was sponsered by *****, nvidia, Intell, some random mouse pad maker(cant remember his name off hand) , Pepsi(this was the lamest sponsor ever) gigabyte, the sandwich shop accross the street (the owners son loved us, so we got free subs/sandwiches) And of course out LAN, Arena 1337

Basically, it was awesome, but it was very hard on your body. And its really easy to get burnt out on it. I mean... imagine your entire life spent on playing the same game, for hours and hours and hours. it gets old. dont get me wrong, it was awesome, great fun, good experience, good connections. Im glad to be able to say i was one of THOSE people who got money for a stupid reason. But, i dont think i would do it again, unless i had no other options, and the sponsor was really pushing it in my face.

As far as comp vs Xbox. i guess im one of those people, i was programming on my old TRS80 when i was 4. And i never had a console, untill i was like 15.. stupid PS1 and my only game was spyro lol.

I prefer computers, yes, i have to deal with issues sometimes. but it dosnt bother me... hard problems make me happy, i purposely dont run a firewall or virus/malware protection. And when my computer gets infected, i leave it for awhile, and let it get real bad... Then when its ridicules, i fix it. Its fun to me. And i dont mind tweaking everything to get a few extra frames.

I have no problems running any emulation software. But i can understand how people who are not as computer savy or who work on computers all day (i can definitely understand this sometimes... ) would enjoy the simplicity of a console.

I guess.. ive always had a comp that could emulate most consoles... so when the xbox360 came out, and it was like 500 bucks... i laughed and played xbox360 games on my comp.

MAY MEET QUESTIONS

What does everyone think about the May meet being on Saturday the 19th? This meet will be the cruise around Lake Berryessa. So Vacaville/Fairfield guys need to let me know where we will be meeting and where we'll finish and eat. As soon as I have that info I'll start the May meet thread. I am REALLY looking forward to this meet!!

We can meet at the Alamo plaza shopping center In Vacaville like we always do for the caravan meets. It's right off the freeway. Then just take Alamo Drive to Foothill Drive which will take us to Pleasent Valley Road and that will take us out to all the backroads and twisties up to Berryessa. Then on the way back we can come down the Napa way which will drop us off at Air Base Parkeway in Fairfield.
When Tony gets back we can talk more about which routes to take.

Bindings included with the board? How much for the snow gear setup?

Yeah Bindings are included, hardly no scratches. The board is worth $250 brand new and the boots are worth $175 New and the Keyboard you could get off E-bay for like $80-100 ill let it go for 50 bucks. Ill let the snowboarding equipment go for around $300??? OBO guys, Thats for the Boots, Board and Bindings im not too firm on teh price. Trade for anything interesting?

I haven't posted it or anything yet but i'm thinking about selling my FD. My circumstances at the moment don't allow the time to do what I want with the car nor is it a good investment at this time. I'm looking into getting a newer car. So if anyone is interested send me a PM.

Doesn't pass smog.
