TT - I am waiting for Halo 3. I will have the beta next month. I cant wait. And gears of war is taking up so much of my time right now. I have become such a nerd now that my knee is all jacked up.

Besides the only good car racing game is GT.

I am also waiting for Halo 3, even though I suck at multiplayer on it, but damn the game is fun to play. One game I am really waiting for is BattleField 2: Bad Company. Btw, gamertag is M4R6. I wish the PS3 and Wii would come out with more games.

Before that it was Command & Conquer 3 but I'm on the last mission now so I don't feel a pressing need to play.

I'm waiting for MGS4 to come out on PS3, and also being able to afford it. =P

Snap I wish I had some spare scratch laying around to get a 360 what with Forza 2 coming out soon.

If you plan on buying a 360 hold off until the 360 Elite comes out. Release date on it is the 29th, iirc.

Only reason I have all these systems is b/c my wife also enjoys video games.

Yeah I've read about the elite coming out. The 360s just use normal IDE drives don't they? If I got a 360 I'd probably just upgrade the HDD capacity myself. Though the Elite does have HDMI. Granted I don't even have a TV right now. =P All of my gaming crap is at my friends place so I just head over there if I download a new PS2 game or something.

 

Yeah, the only thing new is a larger HDD and the damn HDMI. I wish the freaking HDMI was on the previous 360. You can buy the larger HDD, but iirc it retails for roughly $169. Oh well, I guess you cannot win them all.

 

I'm playing Forza right now. I'm 98.7% done with career or w/e it's called. Just wanted to get 100% on arcade and career before Forza 2 comes out. I haven't been on xbox live in a long time. My brother hogs the 360 in his room and no games really interest me. They need to release an F1 game for the 360!

 

F1 Championship for the PS3 is f#@$ing great. Just go over and smack your brother upside the head and take the 360...lol

 

From what I understand you can use your own external hdd via the usb port. All you have to do I think is plug it into a computer first to format it as FAT32. 120GB OEM hard drives are only about $60, then spend another 20-30 on an ext. usb2.0 enclosure and bammo you have an external hard drive for under $100 =P

When I do end up getting a 360 I will probably just get a core system and do that. Though I may get the Premium for the built in wifi, and just upgrade the internal hard drive.

 

Oh yeah, you can also go that route. IMO, just buy the Premium so you can have wifi.

man! i dunno if i should rebuild my 7 or just sell it as is... i'm trying to sell my mazda3 and get an m3 (or possibly a wrx which i will convert to rwd)...

this is probably the most biased place to ask but should i have it rebuilt??? its a 91 n/a...looks pretty good just the engine is leaking oil into the exhaust. 156k so should i ? worth it?

man, you guys are stupid... just spend a little extra money on a good computer, and play all your XBOX360, and PS3 games on your computer!

well.. the PS3 blue ray DVD drives cost a bit extra... but its well worth it on PC..

XBOX360 games look 2x's better on PC than they do on the xbox.

It will take 3 years or at least 4 times the money to make a PC better than a 360. It has 3 - 3.1 gig prosessors for starters. I have never seen a pc with that much power. I have not seen a PC game that can hold up to the 360 yet and I am a gamer

Give it two or three years and the pc games will start to catch up. But by then the next console will only be a couple of years out. So it will be pointless to ever plan games on PC ever again. Plus you have to play with a mouse and keyboard

 

I bet you dont have a 1080p high def TV do you I do and it kills my PC. I cant wait for the new elite 360.

 

You know they stoped selling this version in america. They said that there wasnt enough demand for it. So they are all the 599 60gig versions now.

I am interested in your price as well though.

Damn it, take back what you said...j/k I am also into PC gaming, but I have been to lazy to upgrade some of the hardware. I will eventually do it in the near future. I spend so much time on the PC at work. I do not want to touch it when I get home, unless I really have to.

The computer games rock. The sound, a million times better. The graphics, XBOX ect can not compair. Just my Opinion though.
