Yeah, I worked there 5 years ago when it was GC Services and just recently when it was Verizon before it got bought out by Stellar Nordia. The job was bittersweet as you pretty much sat on your *** all day drinking coffee, checking out chicks, bullshitting, and reading magazines only to have all that interrupted by having to call some girl and tell her she was "a **** eating *** ****". I can't really go into specifics as you know and can probably relate to.

I'm going up to that Tracy Tarmac Thunder thing on Sunday if you want to roll with me.

Alright looks like I am gonna try to host a meet and cruise guys! Just drove through an awesome road yesterday and it looks perfect for a cruise!

 

Hey Rob,

I did some searching, turns out there are some minor differences between the gsl-se transmission and the s4 tranny. But a simple fix. The tail housing on the FC transmission is just a smidge longer and the speedo gear is different. So I just swapped the tail housings and the speedo gear and presto it will now mount straight to the car. Took me about an hour but coulda been done faster since I was being **** about cleaning everything. I put the oil pan on as well so the motor is ready to go in. I was working at getting the harness out of the FC so I can start the wiring process which looks to be a bigger task than I originally imagined but i'm going to do some more searching.

 

Sounds awesome. I'll have to come check it out again. I don't have text messaging anymore so gimme a ring next time you're working on it. Do you still have that stock exhaust?

 

Del Puerto Canyon would be a good cruise. Starts in Patterson and ends up in Livermore.

 

Think I might do that. Thinking a cruise and BBQ or something. Going to have to take a drive on that road and check it out. Anyone else got any input?

 

It's a long drive. Lots of curves and cliffs, and I think there's some sort of cafe/bar halfway down to eat at. I'd be down at the beginning of next month since I have to fix my leaky waterpump (still. lot's of crap going on with me right now). There's also In N Out burger up on Pleasanton.

BTW I got Forza 2 now and we're working on a live account.

 

Cool I got forza 2 and I actually just started playing it again recently. Might go ahead and make a live account lol

 

I was kinda iffy on it when I got it, and then I won some races and bought some mods for my cars so they don't drive like complete *** anymore. I don't drive with any traction control or stability management so I'm still working on keeping the tail planted in the corners. We'll probably get a gold account next month when I move out of my old place and move the clearwire over here.

Btw, don't get clearwire.
