Hey guys, It's been a while since I've looked at any of the Norcal meets.Havn't spent too much time on the seven in the last year with house buying, moving, work etc.. I'm in Merced now and I'll most likely head down to SS8 and meet the rest of the crew.
The motor is blown but it still runs....sorta so I'll be a bit slow, and God help anyone behind me unless you really like the smell of gas .
Anyone close to Merced who wants to hang some time let me know I'm usually down for a drive in the hills or something.
Here's the car not to get behind.

looks nice, but man, ducati, italian, expensive to maintain, haha. You know how it goes. It's still a sick bike though.

I used to own a Duc 748. That was my first street bike. Damn, nothing sounds like a Duc engine. Ben, do you know how to adjust the desmodromic valve train? That is why they're a pain in the ***. And if I remember right it takes a special set of tools to do that job. But they are sexy machines and can out handle almost anything!!!!

Best of luck with it Ben. I know you'll love the bike. It will be different and better than anything you have ridden to date. That much I'm sure of. I do miss my Italian bikes.

What's up bro?

I get all sentimental when it comes to Italian motorcycles. I've owned a few of them and miss them terribly!!

On a different note, who all is going to the D1 on December 16th and 17th in Irwindale??

what kinda temps did your bike range in?

not sure if all Duc's are air cooled and it seems to run a little warmer in traffic than the guy said it runs at. it ran up to 3/4 today but i didn't notice any problems so i'm just curious if that is still in the normal range for temps.

I'd be down to go, just depends on if my schedule will allow. It probly won't, my life is going to end starting Oct. 31st. On a brighter note, I went to look at my future apartment today. For anyone who cares it's off Truxell right off of 80 bout 5 minutes from Arco Arena. And my school is within walking distance of Arco. I'll probly be moving in on October 15th.

Which side of the freeway? If its on the arco side- very cool. If its on the opposite side its uh... not the greatest neighborhood, but you should be alright. Which school are you going to? ARC Natomas?

Also- I'm reconsidering, might try and make the caravan down on friday for Sevenstock and then just split off from you guys at Kettleman City. Oh yeah and lastly I (plus my girlfriend possibly) need a place to stay saturday night, anyone got one?

Hey,
Just found out Reese (20B10AE) will be at Sevenstock afterall, though without his car. You guys should meet him, he's really an awesome person and he know's a lot about FCs. Jacob, is your life ending because you'll be going to UTI? PLEASE-you're life is beginning. College was one of the best experiences I've had in my life. I think everyone should go if they have the opportunity. And speaking of D1, I think a caravan would be cool, maybe we could get a group discount at a hotel down there.

Bert, how are we going to be Jacob's neighbor?

I dunno what side the arco IS on but the neighborhood where my apartment is is decent and the apartment complex itself is very nice, there is a tennis court and a swimming pool! Comes with a dish washer, refridgerator, and stove/oven combo. 2 bedrooms 1 bath. It has a little patio, cuz it's upstairs. It is really quite nice. it's like 820 a month with garbage, water, Electricity, and gas (Water heater). Plus the landlord lady is hot!

Steven I'm going to UTI, it's a new campus.

Berry my life won't be over but it will be busy, It's going to be alot of fun.

Hmmm wouldn't be Granite Point would it? I was almost going to move there (didn't for financial reasons), and from the way you describe the landlady sounds like it is. You living w/ someone I take it? Sounds awesome though regardless, just beware cuz Natomas is kind of an interesting place. In some parts going one street over can change the enviroment dramatically. Otherwise its pretty cool. If you ever need coffee or iced mocha or anything of that sort before school my girlfriend works at the It's A Grind on Del Paso a little ways west of Truxel- its good stuff. Thats right I forgot UTI was over there too. Well if you need any help moving or getting a tour of Sac or anything give me a call...

Oh yeah one other thing too-
(Begin work plug)
I anyone needs business cards made they are ridiculously cheap for 1000 from my work. Lets see if I can run these off the top of my head- $12 for a simple black, $18 for red, blue, burgandy or black w/ more lines for printing and then beyond there it goes kind of crazy price-wise, but some of the looks you can get are really nice. And yes we do have the Mazda logo, a 3rd gen outline and maybe even a 2nd- I haven't studied the logos as much as I should have. So yeah let me know if you guys are interested...
(End work plug)
