Hey Ben, 80 runs east and west while 5 runs north and south. Just thought I'd mention that.

That still doesn't change the fact that 80 runs east and west instead of north and south. I understand now though. Take 80 west until 50. Then I take 50 which direction, east or west??

80 goes north/south until it meets business 80 and then it heads east/west, business 80 is still north/south so follow it south.

once you hit 50 take the exit towards Tahoe east, it will cross and go under business 80 towards the east.

here is a pic of the map, it does run northeast/southwest but i still consider it north/south and 50 east/west. basically you will be heading towards sac and follow it towards 50.

business 80 follows the path of 80 where it splits and heads west. after madison ave. will be the business 80 exit on the right which will continue in the southbound direction.

the more direct route but probably a little longer due to stoplights is to take the douglas blvd exit in roseville heading east and take the first right which is sunrise, keep going down sunrise miles and miles of stoplights and you will eventually hit the second douglas which is in Rancho Cordova.

Yeah don't go down Sunrise from Roseville, unless you plan to take an extra hour to get there. Heh

I think that I'll take an alternate route. But either way, Berry and I will be there. That and Jason with the white Miata and Mark with the '05 Mustang GT will be there too. I almost had to cancel on you guys. I got stuck with weekend duty this weekend, but I got someone to cover for me at the last minute.

Tell me about it. Even if it would've been on, I bribed someone with $20 to do the tour for me. I wasn't about to miss another event.

Well, I'm no morning person so I'll probably be there around 10-10:30. I do have a question though.. how strict do they "tech" on items in the car? I don't mean huge things like boom boxes, but what about small screws/bolts in the ash tray or something? I also have a plastic gas tank and small box of 'roadside emergency' type spare parts bunjee'd in my trunk, will that not fly? Basically I'm just curious if I need to empty out the entire car before going.

Mike

take a right on sunrise off of 50 then a right on douglas Jake.

they tech the cars rather poorly as far as i have seen in this zone. Jake's battery didn't even have a hold down and they still let him run.
just so long as the car is safe it will pass the tech, just be sure to pull out any loose articles in the car prior to having it teched.

a few more toys for the 7: my 11.5lb ACT streetlite flywheel and stage 2 T04B hyrbid turbo(i just finished polishing the housing).

the turbo seller lied though, the wastegate is not ported but i prefer to do my own work, i just cannot dynamically balance a turbo like a turbo shop can however so i got a decent deal on this one.
