Norcal 7's June Meeting
Jake, the BBQ thing is up to everybody else. Just meeting up and hanging out for a bit would be cool with me. It doesn't have to be anything elaborate. And no Berry isn't going. I wouldn't take her to the desert with me. It's bad enough that I drug her to Cali. I'd love to have her company for the 4 months, but it's not a real good vacation spot or anything.
pbchief, of course it's cool if you show up in the WRX. I'll try and put my TII back together by then so you can hear and see the motor that's in it.
Ben, I need to stop by when I get back in town to pick up some gasket paper. That way the TII will be back up and good to go for the trip to Mather Field.
Zach
P.S. Koi mok pee noi koi!!!!!!!!

BTW, it really isn't at the Regional Park, it's where they used to park B52's near the runway. To get there, turn west on Douglass off Sunrise and when it ends drive straight through the gate.

Cool, I just ordered some new tires. And today I discovered something wonderful......It's called secondary boost in first gear. I'm definitely having boost issues, I can MAKE the car boost by double pumping the gas but if i just punch it it stals at 5 in first gear and occasionally in 2nd <-- Bad news. What's a broke man to do?

But yea, dude that sucks. I need a damn paint job!

let me know when you want to come by when you get back Zach.
the last runs at stockton were pretty nice Bob, we had double laps with average times of about 1:40 and it was setup rather nice with 3- 2 lap runs.
Jake, remember when i said the secondary turbo actuator was missing a bolt? i would start by getting a bolt in there, the actuator arm may be locking up because it was not sitting on there straight and i didn't have any spare bolts left to resecure it.

I made a long cool thread in the suspension area, but got a proxy error and no way ill type all that **** out again so Here's the pics with no real description as to wtf is up. This is from the right side mind you. It squeaked, but other than that it worked. Still dunno whats wrong with the left side that is just gay...

washer warped into bushing >.>

just look at it...the washer warped into the bushing has been rubbing up on this for who knows how long...i need a whole new upper strut assembly or something for the right side...still trying to find out whats up with the left side and why it doesnt want to work.

I wonder if any of the Davis guys is going to show up to this AutoX. I hope so, it would be nice to meet them before I leave for a while. And I'll finally be bringing the TII to a meet.
I just wish I could be running in the AutoX too!!
Hey Jake, I hope that you'll enjoy being non-seq. It will spool slower, but once it spools it's soooooooo much fun.

Fixed the strut problem...dunno what exactly was the problem, but it's fixed now. Just took everything apart and used some parts off junkyard struts and put it back together. Also fixed my jdm squeak in the rear right strut
....just want my damn standalone to come in so I can put that turbo on
! My turbo smokes like helllll. I'm in the process of convincing some of my friends to go run =/ one person I think may go is my friend with an old volvo. Pretty decent car, but his last one that got hit was way better
Also trying to get others to go.

Seems like we should start having sunday meetings. lol So I propose we have two meets this month. A going away BBQ for zach and just a second meet in case people can't make the auto x, how bout at Elk Grove Reg. Park again? Seemed like a good place. OR maybe somewhere in sac. It doesn't really matter but the date has to be Sunday the 19th at around 1 pm Last weekend zach will be around. If this sounds good to everyone then we'll start up a food list.
I'm in. ohhh...guess who might have new urethane bushings on their car at the next autox? ....Ben...hahaha you thought I was going to say me? I'm a big maybe.. I need to see someone else do it first >.> I didn't know you needed a bushing extractor and crap like that

this site is great and very useful...

Are you doing the "FULL NON-Sequential Version"?? or just the Rigged Non-Sequential?? Either way I wouldn't recommend you doing that, because trust me, you will hate the lag if doing alot of autocrossing....
just my .02 cent...
and if i'm feeling ambitious and my new ACT light steel flywheel comes in early next week i might try tossing it in there too...
all you turbo FC guys i found a good deal on the ACT streetlite 11.5lb flywheel:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WD1V
keep in mind you will need an auto tranny counterweight for your series motor as well.
