i may come down to watch but it all depends when i am finished with a few things around my shop.

when we had the dyno day at Brian's(elfking) uncles shop we all got to run our own cars. what do you think they have to do when a tuner is tuning? they rent the dyno to an induvidual who doesn't work at the shop to tune on the dyno. sure some kids may be irresponsible with their own cars but if the chains are secure the only thing they would damage is their car and possibly the dyno which insurance covers, if anything happens to give which would be a poor tie down issue as the restraints should be able to hold the full weight of a car pushing 1000HP.
well you never know... they might let you drive your car on the dyno.

Ever dyno I have even been to (around 15 at least) has ALWAYS let the owner push the gas pedal. NEVER have I seen a tech get in and run some ones car. But these cars were not there for tunning that would be diferent. No one else will ever sit in my drivers seat with the motor running.

This is rediculus. I am just about to leave and now I dont even know if I want to go. No one is running my car but me.

I showed up at 12:30 and there was 30+ people already signed up as well as numerous runs already made, which means I should have got there at 8am instead of 12 like V8 eater said... even @ 25 cars @15 minutes a car your looking at 6-7 hours before you get on the dyno... so I left

yea it was supposed to start at 12pm, but soooo many cars showed up early that we started at about 9am.

we got all of the cars that were on the list dynoed, even a few latecomers got thier cars dynoed. you should have stayed, it was a great turnout.

about 50 cars ended up showing, about 30 or so cars put thier name on the dyno list, and we dynoed all of them.

pics and videos are going to be up on RotaryTuner.com shortly...

Dang it. I didnt go because I was put off by the fact that they said that only 20 cars were going to be dyno'd. Oh well. Sit and wait for the next opportunity.
