Need some help with custom body and fab work

Okay,

So I am feeling froggy and getting ready to leap on my project car. I have most of the engine drivetrain stuff ready to go. However, I need someone to do the body work.

Here is what I am looking for.

Mini Tubs for the Rear.

Full Roll Cage 10 or 12 point.

Custom body work on the Rear to flare out each side 2 inches. I would like it to look as stealth as possible.

Minor rust repair around the windshields

Dent removal, prep and paint.

Anyone out there that can do any or all of this work, please contact me.

As an FYI, this is for a 73 RX2.

Any help, or leads is greatly appreciated.

Wacky has stealth PM's. Learn how to send a PM squid!!

J-cookies, I'll be very interested to see how this project comes along. You're using the motor and drivetrain out of your TII right?

Yep, at least that is the plan. I suck at teh fabrication bodywork stuff though.

I will start up a thread on the progress of the project if I ever get to that point. Right now it is not looking so good.

There has got to be a rotorhead who does this kind of ****.

There's a decent amount of shops in OC for you to do both fabbing and paint and body. It depends on whether or not you want one shop to do it. I've worked with a few paint/body shops so there are some I could recommend.

Drop me a PM if you're still looking for options. If you've found a good shop then good luck with your project.

I have heard lots of good stuff about his shop, and I have talked to him about the work. However, he is very, very expensive, and does not have any experience with doing mini tubs. I think he would be willing to try, but I don't want my car to be the guiena pig.

Here is the biggest issue. What I am looking to do is build an old Japanese car with modifications that are normally associated with old American muscle cars. So, I call around and speak with shops, and they are like; "Mazda what?" They don't want to touch it.

Keep em coming.
