well, for sure i'm going to keep it, it just that i never have done any body work on cars so i don't know how to fix body damage and paint

my and my buddy are going to start on it soon. my insurance company is only giving me 1100 to fix the damage

well so far it doesnt look like major damage... i doubt theres frame damamge...but. you wont be able to really tell till you remove the fender and bumper

oh **** I remember this car. I believe I sold you a undertray a while back. it was CLEAN and you had a nice corvette too if I remember right. but yeah damage doesn't look too bad. new fender and bumper probably going to run you like 100-150 on this forum+ so you got ~1k for paint or whatever.

The real challenge will be to get the paint to match. A 1st Class painter is where you'll want to direct as much of that $1100 as available for that reason.

It is fixable, but i don't want to fix it because something made a small hole in it. So i have to get another one. don't want to spot weld it

Make sure you give the insurance company all the info the want so the cab guy's insurance pays not yours. If you just want to be able to drive again, you can unbolt the fender and pop that dent right back out with a wide blunt object, maybe even just push it out with your hand. It'll look like an aluminum can where you dent it and push it back, but at least you can drive until it's fixed. But don't do anything until you're 100% sure the insurance folks don't need to look at it any more.

I'm not spot welding the fiberglass, it the front clip of the car i'm doing that too. It got pushed in a bit.
