Hello,

I've done searches for microtech tuners in socal / la but haven't found anything yet.

The tuning & install is for a fc3s turbo.

The rebuilt engine is ready, I just need a shop that can install & tune the microtech.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ask for James, he is the owner and tuner. He has tuned my Microtech LT-10 and he is a licensed Microtech seller and tuner. Tell him Victor with the 510 gave you the information. Pick his brain about Microtech, you'll see he knows his sh$%t. Nice guy. A little drive from L.A. but worth it.

Just wanted to bump this thread, I'm also looking for a Microtech tuner in socal. I just may go with James even though he is far from my location. This is the second time I have heard him recommended. The first time I heard of him from from a guy at sevenstock with a turbo 2 motor in his black first gen. He said that one tuner near LA tuned his car and his motor blew shortly there after. He then took it to James and said it runs perfect and he couldnt be happier. At the time, James tuned it on the street. Does james also have a dyno?

 

James sounds like a good idea.. I woudnt go to that person in L.A. also if were talking about the same person he messed up 2 of my car's already.. people in LA dont kno how to do business

 

Yes, James can dyno. Call him. He is busy so leave a message. He is very religious in building rotary motors. He will not answer the phone if he is building a motor. He like total concentration when his building. When he build mine it was sweet to see all the parts is in place and the rotor and housing was in shrink wrap. I should have taking a pictures.

We probably are.... out of respect for him and his business, I didn't mention the name of the shop but I have heard a couple of horror stories coming out of there.

 

I had my Microtech tuned by Glenn Price (Mazpower).

Thrashed the car at every track event I went to and drove home without a single hiccup, then drove it to work and school everyday when I'm not on the track, with decent fuel economy might I add.

 

what city is that in? I have never heard of that shop. thx
