I've been going to Mazdatrix for the past 18 years and I've nothing but good things to say about EVERY experience.

Sure you can sometimes find new replacement parts, certainly used parts, for less money elsewhere. We all have our personal "hook ups" which isn't a fair comparison to a retailer to a very narrow nich of the mass's such as Mazdatrix.

BUT, Mazdatrix has proven time in and time out to be a place where you CAN almost always get a part when you need it and many times a place where you can find a part when even the dealer doesn't seem to be able to.

More over, I dare ONE person who has voice critisizm on this thread toward Mazdatrix to say they have NEVER benefited from the FREE technical information Mazdatrix posts up on their web site. Information that many times you can't find anywhere else. Old saying, that's like cutting your nose off to spite your face.

Finally, after reading all this, this is more an issue with Jamie and Kyle over a difference of opinion. NOT Jamie and Mazdatrix. This got WAY too broad brush. Boys and girls, lets put the right color on this to be fair.

^ While I agree with you about what you've said about Mazdatrix, his problem may have started out with Kyle but as soon as everyone walked away leaving him in the office, the problem ended up being with the company as a whole and not just with one employee. I wasnt there to witness this fiasco so I can't take sides and defend one party over the other but feel this could have been handled better by Mazdatrix.

Some people on this forum probably havent had rude service, or negative experiences...until you do...im curious to see the reviews of this shop then.

I for one have had no issues with phone orders. I anxiously planned out a day to visit them in person along with my friend, that was the day I experienced poor cust svc. If it wasnt for Ash assisting me...I probably would have felt like I was bothering the other staff in purchasing a part.

No client should have to feel like that.

well basically this is what happened..

Finish line and I went to mazdatrix so i can buy a 20b/RE rear iron.

but instead i ended up getting into a big arguement with 2 of the people who work, also they began to argue amoungst one another.(very professional)

all i wanted was to get my rear iron, but instead i got the run around, saying they didnt have the iron, and then they said, they have one reserved for Dave Lemon. ( heres the link to the website with the specific iron.)
http://mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=10-C50D-NF01

so i was like wtf. you advertise that you have them for sale, but when i go you dont have any.?

but thats not what pissed me off.

after i proved to them that you CAN use a later version of a 20b/re iron to tap it and use the stock fd motor mounts.

they were like just talking non sense, they didnt tell me anything else.

they just walked away.

just like that, they didnt say a word. they walked away.

and left me and finishline in the front desk

so i was like wtf is going on??? i have the money to pay for the iron, but they just walked away.

i guess thats how they deal with paying customers...

and for the record, i was not being a total ***, i just proved my point and reasoning for why i need it, and i guess they got mad or something..

Finishline can vouche for how they acted, and as well for my actions.

but w/e im not the first person to complain abou them....

you should've called them beforehand to confirm for parts availability. websites are NEVER accurate description of available stock.

^ thats the whole reason i went to go ask. mazdatrix is only 10 mins away from me, so i didnt mind going there in person, because i had to verify it was the right one.

and i did go to ask them, but i never got a straight answer just a bunch of drama.

ok, this is just my opinion, but i think this will sum it up
jaime doesnt look like half of us rotary guys, he is young, and sometimes sales people will look at you like you dont know ****. i wouldnt doubt that there is a chip on some salesmans shoulder, even more the owner, but what i have learned, whether right or wrong, the customer is right. if you value business, u do not, DO NOT walk away from the customer, and ignore them, unless they are being belligerent and rowdy, which by then u would call the cops.
i hate to say it hozz, but all the people i have met on here have been cool, but there are that select few that thing they are rotary gods and wont listen to anything anyone has to say. that why i chose to stay away from those people.

i think jaime handled it quite well and just left.
someone like me, would have been well **** you then you punk bitch mother ******, see if i dont burn the mazdatrix name. but thats just me, im very outspoken and dont take **** from no one.

with that said, jaime, hot topic has 50% off thier clearance foo, 2 dolla tight pants

Yup... This sounds like Dave.. you know why?

CUZ HE CAN, HE'S THE OWNER! It's HIS business, he OWNS the whole damn "80's looking property" and if he didn't sell that $400 iron, he could prolly care less. He's prolly got that "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" sign somewhere...
