Lucky7 or Garage Life
hi guys, I'm just researching for the near future cause I might need to rebuild my motor. I'm lucky enough to live near few RX7 specialty shop. I've hear good things from both Lucky 7 and Garage Life and wanted to check if anyone has suggestion or opinions?

I know the guys at Lucky 7 really well and they're the only shop that touches my car. I trust those guys and they've never steered me wrong in regards to anything rotary related.
I have met Dainel at Garage Life a few times and I've seen he does good work as well.
I guess it all depends on preference. It wouldn't hurt to get quotes from both shops.
But, my recommendation is Lucky 7.

I vote Tri-Point, especially now that they're under new owners who love 7's.
Lucky 7 also seems to be good
For some reason it seems people on this thread like garage life but at Tri-Point there are at least 4 cars there that came from Garage Life that had a lot of stuff wrong that needed to be fixed.

I am one of the two who run garage life and your more than welcome to come and check out the shop. We stand by our work. 1st place in redline and global timeattack so far with a car we built from the ground up. Lucky 7 are good friends of ours and they do great work too.

having been a mechanic in my previous career, I understand not every project goes as planned. things break and get stuck. A good shop will work with you when things go bad. yes I can rebuild the motor myself but it might last a year or two and might have bigger issues once I start putting pressure on the motor. I'm looking to work with a pro that know the in and out of the motor so we can beef up the weak point.

My car is currently at Lucky 7. so far i really cant complain about anything. but i also deal with Daniel from Garage Life who will be tuning it when its done. im pretty new to rotary's and Will from lucky 7 and Daniel have been more than willing to walk me through everything. so i feel like im getting the best of both shops. feel lucky to have two really good local shops.
