LACR meet on Friday May 20th!! come out!!
You guys missed out.
There was alot of fast cars there, even a couple of fast imports.
Best I could muster on the evening was a 13.1. I need some slicks for the strip
Gazo had the fastest run of the evening at 13.0.
Roman videotaped all the runs, maybe he will post them up.

Damn only 13.1 on the 1/4 mile that really sucks I would expect 12's from you guys especially after getting your cars tuned by Steve Kan.
How much HP are you guys pushing out of those FD's???

First, none of us had slicks, we were all using road tires. The best 60' foot anyone managed to pull was a 2.19. That right there, does away with just about any chance of hitting a 12.
Second, you are at altitude at LACR. If you apply the correction factor that is given to you at www.lacr.net then the best run of the night would have been a 12.6 corrected.
Finally, we ran the cars on a hot day, this most definetly will affect the times. I have run a 12.8 (uncorrected) with 50 less horsepower, the only difference was it was a cold winter night.
Anyways, I am going to get a set of slicks for the next time I go. I am tired of looking at 13 sec time slips.
