What happened to the West Forum?

More important, are the threads lost or can they be restored for the every important seach to answer questions?

I heard the virus that crippled the website came from the west section. Someone named wackyracer locked up the system because of his huge amount of postwhoring!

Because of all of the postwhoring that the West Section generates, It puts quite a heavy load on the main server. So, to accommodate us postwhorers, they will be migrating the west section to a more robust IBM Blade Server:
