it gets driven hard and daily, and i do about 2500 mile intervals. do you reccomend 10w30 for close to stock tuning in southern california weather

i use renesis stationaries and 120 psi oil presure...
5w20 in the winter, and 10w30 or 40 in the summer. but that's just my setup. i don't track it yet, but when i do, it'd probably be 10-40 mobil one.

i'd say just use whatever the oil cap says on it. mazda made that recommendation for a reason.

gtx is good for people who don't premix. i haven't read too deeply into it, but something with the low-ashing properties.
