naw but on a serious note, it is a bit hard to find a job now adays. since ppl are getting laid off, etc..

 

^i havent had a job since march.. droppin apps everywhere. few interviews but no bights.. think this large gap in no employment will affect me? Its been harsh man like you said. Not many highering, lower chances of getting jobs since theres probably a million more candidates your going against now.

yeah im in perris now, im really feeling there aint **** here.. My mom thinks the IE is a booming place .. i still live at home. mom wants me to go back to school, i want to as well, just live farther from schools.. im tryin to sell my fc to pay off some credit card debt and pick up a cheap car to push around.

I wanna look into sound engineering, check out the LA recording school etc.. BUT.. mother thinks its more of a luxury and that theres millions of people already doin that.. I see careers i wouldnt mind looking into, and i get family members criticize it "oh thats not a good career"... bullshit I feel pretty freaking miserable.

Some people have told me to work at wherever, id rather sell my car if i go that route, dont wanna have some G ride parked somewhere it might get messed with.

 

LMAO. The IE WASSSS a booming place when all these dumb ***** were buying houses they couldnt afford.

Live in Riverside, work in OC. Then looked what happened. Gas prices shot up, these dum dums couldnt afford to drive their H2 hummers from riverside to the OC and they are walking away from their mortages. Now tons of people are getting laid off.

Hypertek: How about instead of selling your car, you take public transit. you have to have money to afford gas, use that gas money on the bus. Its probably cheaper.

 

Its no joke nowadays huh? The economy has gone to **** and everyone still denies that we're in a recession...we've BEEN in a recession we're just too proud to announce it to the rest of the world.

Well the IE has a ton of warehouses maybe that'll be a place to look if you havent already. I know someo of us have too much pride to just take any job but if you've been out of work since March...maybe McDonald's isnt that bad after all. It's all a matter of working with what you've got. lol yeah no ****. funny that people couldnt see past their greed when the market was "booming" out there to realize it was a VERY bad idea to move there and work in SD or OC or LA.

a lot of the people that bought in the IE were the people that got the 110% financed interest only loans. and that played a role in the amount of foreclosures. i noticed a lot of the mortgages we did in like murietta and temecula were loans that were for more than the purchase price of the home. a lot of people were consolidating their debt and buying new cars and so on with the money the bank gave them. so they had a house worth 300k a mortgage for 500k and 2 brand new hummers in the driveway.

as for finding a job ive said it before and ill say it again. if your that hard up for work you dont get to pick where you work. and with the amount of competition in the job market right now if you are offered a job say scrubbing toilets take it.

also, not to pick on you and i dont know if this is the case in real life or if you are just like me and lazy on the interweb but using the wrong word doesnt look good when trying to find a job. i notice things like that a lot with people looking for office jobs and having never had one. needless to say i pass right past their application/resume
