I wouldn't be getting it to drive fast, might as well have a regular car at that point. Those things are useless if they are pedal to the metal.

Its the Arco I mentioned in the first post near PCH and Hawthorne. The Arco near Redondo Beach Village usually has the same price.

My beater crapped out last week... I had to leave it in LA to get repaired so I ended up driving the FD out to Phoenix. I make the treck across the dessert again this week. over 350 miles each way. Driving the FD daily is dangerous, not just for the wallet but also for my driving record.

What would you have the president do? We have plenty of oil; the reason gas is so expensive is because we know that it'll eventually run out. What's the point of expanding drilling? Saudi Arabia just REDUCED oil production because the crude market is saturated.

Drilling out our own oil takes care of dealing with the middle east, but that isn't the reason gas prices are so absurdly high.

ARCO special 87 blend for my RX-3s. Never get a full tank as the additional weight will kill your MPG

Al Jazeera is comprised mostly of ex BBC journalists and provides excellent, relatively unbiased reporting.

They don't report on Lindsay Lohan or Charlie Sheen or whatever the ****. They provide news.

Drilling out our own oil takes care of dealing with the middle east, but that isn't the reason gas prices are so absurdly high.

Plus the fact that the USA gets most of it's oil from CANADA makes drilling in the gulf much less important. Anyone who takes policy advice from someone saying 'drill baby drill' and 'bomb, bomb, bomb Iran' needs to change the station.

Since safety standards and quality of rigs, blow out preventers, etc.. have had zero improvement a year since the disaster, I say stop issuing Gulf drilling permits until they improve.

And start tapping into our oil reserves when gas prices reach $5.00.

At first I figured priced would hit what they did back in 08 ...like $4.40 and start to come back down. Now I am not so sure
