These are the lowest Gas Prices in CA.

Costco has it at right about 3.00 per gallon for premium.
and remember its like $7, $8 or $9 a gallon in the UK/Japan/netherlands?anywhere that isnt the USA. We got it pretty freakin lucky! Be thankful for that.
Also remember that a $0.15 cent spike will only cost you an extra $2.10 per week if you fill up to 14 gallons. not really a big deal IMO

I really do not blame the middle east. I am happy for them, it sucks we are being affected, but to live in poverty with no chance to improve your living standards is unfair. Its just time to start thinking about how to get around town in a different way after 21 years (for me anyway). The times are changing. As countries like China and those in middle east start to share democracy with us we will have competition for resources.

Considering how BP clusterfucked the gulf recently no **** he wont reopen it for drilling.
More realistically you can blame china and india for the "shortage" in inventory which drives the price of crude oil up.
And if I remember correctly, I paid 4.65 for regular a couple summers back when good ole dubya was on office.
I paid 3.91 at shell for premium

I don't understand the point in anyone complaining about gas prices if they're willing to make (or accept) excuses for why they are so high, & support specious arguments against the only actions that could lower them, but whatever.
They've been higher briefly, before; they'll be higher yet. May well bust $5/gal this summer. I'd rather pay less, but I'll still be buying gas regardless. No real options.
I'm old enough to remember the oil crisis under Carter (wasn't driving yet, but sat in a lot of gas lines with my folks, saw them worry about affording gas to get to work); we ain't seen nothing yet.
As Lil Red said, you gotta pay to play, unless you're willing to insist on changes that will actually work.
