These are the lowest Gas Prices in CA.

http://www.californiagasprices.com/index.aspx?fuel=C

Costco has it at right about 3.00 per gallon for premium.

and remember its like $7, $8 or $9 a gallon in the UK/Japan/netherlands?anywhere that isnt the USA. We got it pretty freakin lucky! Be thankful for that.

Also remember that a $0.15 cent spike will only cost you an extra $2.10 per week if you fill up to 14 gallons. not really a big deal IMO

RotoricanNY 02-26-11 04:38 AM

get a crotch rocket, it only cost me about $12 to fill up and it last me about 110 miles, but that's only cuz my bike has a lot of mods.

someotherkid356 02-26-11 09:40 AM

you think thats bad theres on in west covina that is 4.59 for regular its the most expensive gas in the entire us

Yah I have lived in other countries and in those places the public transportation is awesome so you do not have to drive. So I can see why the gas is more, people do not use it as much.

Thats an aweosme link. I also like seeing what you guys pay. Gas is still really only $3 at costco? Might have to look into that!

finishline 02-26-11 10:40 AM

i paid ~$4.25/gal for 91 at the Chevron by Union Station in Downtown LA. should've put a little bit more gas before going over there.

dvo 02-26-11 11:06 AM

the chveron on crenshaw and carson is usually the same price as any othe arco in the area for some reason. Or you might want to the the arco on crenshaw and 235th, usually pretty low prices at either or the two.

Damzil 02-26-11 11:32 AM

getting 3.74 at a 76 in milpitas... but there's cheaper gas near my work in Hayward. I'll check in there

DivinDriver 02-26-11 12:04 PM

Be sure to thank our President for this, come next November.

Failure in Mideast foreign policy + refusal to re-open gulf for drilling + refusal to allow new offshore drilling anywhere else = Higher oil prices.

Rotary13B1 02-26-11 12:33 PM

YAY! Higher gas prices! Keeps the shitty cars off the streets!

IMO, I think the oil companies are using what going on in the middle east as an excuse to charge us more. Libya only reflects 2% of our sales. I think the oil companies saw what they could do to the market back in 2008 and are greedily trying it again now.

I really do not blame the middle east. I am happy for them, it sucks we are being affected, but to live in poverty with no chance to improve your living standards is unfair. Its just time to start thinking about how to get around town in a different way after 21 years (for me anyway). The times are changing. As countries like China and those in middle east start to share democracy with us we will have competition for resources.

And that's why I only drive once a week now LOL. Carpool ftw.

Most of our countries oil comes from South America and other parts of the world than the middle east.

Considering how BP clusterfucked the gulf recently no shit he wont reopen it for drilling.

More realistically you can blame china and india for the "shortage" in inventory which drives the price of crude oil up.

And if I remember correctly, I paid 4.65 for regular a couple summers back when good ole dubya was on office.

I paid 3.91 at shell for premium

Agreed on that one

CaliSwag707 02-26-11 05:55 PM

3.80ish i think it was for me oh well lol ill start to complain once it hits 5 bucks.

-=Lil Red=- 02-26-11 07:42 PM

All I gotta say is, "you gotta pay to play" :)

DivinDriver 02-27-11 11:47 AM

I don't understand the point in anyone complaining about gas prices if they're willing to make (or accept) excuses for why they are so high, & support specious arguments against the only actions that could lower them, but whatever.

They've been higher briefly, before; they'll be higher yet. May well bust $5/gal this summer. I'd rather pay less, but I'll still be buying gas regardless. No real options.

I'm old enough to remember the oil crisis under Carter (wasn't driving yet, but sat in a lot of gas lines with my folks, saw them worry about affording gas to get to work); we ain't seen nothing yet.

As Lil Red said, you gotta pay to play, unless you're willing to insist on changes that will actually work.
