Cool Getting a rebuild - question

So I'm gonna be getting my motor rebuilt on my s4, and I wanna know, swapping to s5 rotors... is it as simple as installing the rotors, or are there other complications i'm not aware of? How much of a gain would I get from that alone?

this should really be in the 2nd gen section.... But you need to swap in the s5 front counterweight and rear flywheel.

No, N/A, it's an 88 convertible. I'm not trying to do too much 'aftermaket' upgrades, want to keep it simple, but I wouldn't mind adding a few horses.
I plan on paying a professional to do this too. So i take it, with a cost, it's just a matter of replacing those parts. Somehow I just know i'll hate it when i look at the listing price for rotors. hehehe...

oh hell, don't worry about it then. n/a's are tuned so conservatively from the factory it's not even funny.

On the FS forum. Surely there is one if not 200 people parting out an S5 engine that would have Rotors haingin around. Kevin Landers from Rotary Reserrection had a big motor component blow out thread just the other day.

Usually the Rotor Housings are what is needed for a rebuild.
