Exclamation Fc Stuck in Reverse..

whats up forum... I need some help with my FC. I was pulling out of my driveway in reverse and when i pulled out and went into first gear, i tried to go foward and it was not moving like the e-brake was on. so i pulled out of first and put it back in and same thing. then i notice that it does not go into 5th or Reverse. but it goes into 1st-4th.when i start the car i cannot release the clutch cause the car will stall..
Any HELP would greatly be appreciated. im located in hacienda heights.
If you could lend a helping hand i could help compensate a lil bit. please let me know. thanks

mine was stuck in reverse but it wasnt the clutch, it was the transmission itself. https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/transmission-stuck-reverse-575825/

if it will not go into the 5th/reverse gate then it is stuck partially in reverse still. you need to try and get it into that gate and work it out of gear completely.

either that or chuck the transmission and get another one.

honestly best bet is to show it who the **** is boss, because even if it doesn't work then the transmission is still junk. if it wins, once you get it out of the car and take a 5lb sledge to it, that will definitely show it who won the battle.

I assume ur car is an S5 na? Ive noticed if u play with the shifter while the car isnt running it will get stuck in reverse, u have to pop the switch back out like starting line said. U dont have to take thw tranny out just undo the crossmember and lower it down.
