My parents' Citibank statement recorded over $4000.00 was charged to their credit card from a Fastrip Food (store? shop?) in Bakersfield. Anyone familiar with this place? is it a chain there?

Im guessing its a punk kid knowing his way around frauds. I sure would like to meet this guy and maybe stab him in the eye.

They do western union money transfers, bet that was it.

Best of luck getting it fixed with Citibank. They are the WORST creditor to deal with, some of their customer service departments are in India and is teh sux. I'd reccomend following up every phone call to Citi with a letter as they are not hitting their financial goals and are playing hardball with customers to increase their balances shall we say.

someone coulda rigged the atm. it happened to me when i was at a gas station on the 905. it was the only time i used it in january.. pullin some cash out and a week later my bank calls me and tells me you have some outstanding charges on the credit card and when i checked it was like $3k in charges from difrrent online purchases.. almost shat myself there but the bank said they didnt let the charges go through without my permission i love navy fed. same thing happened to my friend that used the atm after me.

 

just unfortunate that my parents have to go through this. ive been helping them deal with Citibank for the past 2 weeks, everything is going smoothly so far. i hate these types of people =\

i from bakersfield yeah there are quite a few fasttrips in town which one did it get hit at. and yeah they do money orders and have atms.
