It just occurred to me....why would dj premiere battle Pete Rock? When did Premiere start Rapping? Or...did Pete Rock start DJ'ing?

Well.. you see Pete Rock came out in 87, and DJ Premierio started in June of that year as well. They both went to Belmont High School and was kicked out. So finally both got a GED. Then came the DOT.com boom and they started Pets.com and did really well, until PetSmart outsmarted them with the brick&mortar stores. Pete then asked SnoopDogg and Warren G for a loan in order to get a piano.. and the rest is... as you know history...
