Corner balancing?

Anyone know a good shop that can corner balance/align?

My car is fubar. I totally miscalculated my ride height on my coilovers. Now I got a fist-size gap in the rear and 1 finger gap in the front.....wtf!

custom alignment in mountain view, they are pricey, but they do a lot of racecar prep work and setup...

I used C2 in Oakland..... Roger Kraus Racing in Castro Valley is very very good as well. Expect to pay $250ish+ or so.

Anybody got numbers, emails for the places listed above?

Oh, custom alignment charges $600 plus.

My buddy just got Teins in his GS430, and decided to take it there. Base corner costed him $500+, and get this - they charge to change ride height.

That may not seem like a big deal, but think about this for a while, you have to change the height of the coilovers to corner balance, so what's an extra process or two for setting ride height? I know, I know, people might think I'm being cheap, but jeez, $600 for corner balance? Ridiculous.

How much are the scales.. For $600 i would think you could almost buy your one and set your preload.

Call Alan at Opak in San Bruno, it will not cost 600.00 LOL... He sets up the Spoon USTCC car, has scales, and knows what he is doing. Mention my name for a 1.00 discount

Depending on where you're at, we'd send you to Kraus, C2, or Custom Alignment.

We can help you calc your ride height tho Jay. hehe. Do you have twin perch coilovers?

Shoot, I didn't know Opak did corner balancing. Well I figured they had it done, just never visited them when they moved down to SF. Good to know carl.

thanks,
Rishie

Hey Carl, do you have Alan's phone number? San Bruno is quite a bit closer to me than Oakland, thanks!
