A much more sensible approach you have there, but it's based on actually dealing with emissions issues.

Cali Air Resources Board jumped that shark years ago - - much of their regulation has nothing to do with practical limitation of emissions, and far more to do with advancing an ideological position that's got little connection to the practical world.

just in case of rolling smog, i believe it is time for me to get historical plates for my 2 RX-3 to match the classic insurance. this is to further support not daily driven despite i drive them to work 2-3 times a week and on weekends since no one is actually checking the mileage lol

you mean- state revenue.

but like a corporation, california spends more money trying to get that revenue than they actually bring back in. so the effort is to waste as much money as possible, just like the government.

vehicle emissions are not the big deal they make out to be and i just don't get why they waste hundreds of millions of dollars each year trying to crack down on the .01% of failing vehicles.

i sense eventually california will be sold to mexico.

lol

Actually, I meant collectivist eco-coercion; California wouldn't know a good revenue plan if one jumped in it's lap and started to wriggle.

Luckily, June came and went for me this year. Just had to renew my reg., no smog. Next year, I won't be so lucky. That is, unless Glen will let me borrow his motor for a day :P

with all the ******* free loaders in cali, smog is just an excuse to gain some revenue to reduce the deficit. so we have no choice

on the other hand, if cali is so bad, why do people move here particularly in LA...

the good and bad LA is 2 hours away from everything (snow, mountain, pacific and indian casinos); however, it could take 2 hours also to go 20 miles lmao
