CA evap test failure
Hey guys, if you dont konw already, CA passed a law that obd1 vehicles need a test to see if fuel vapors are leaking through the tank or the evap system
So I took this 95 mazda b3000 i just bought and it passed everything except this fuel tank test.
I finally got a buddy to help me and we pulled off the bed. Nothing was obviously leaking, all the hoses were decent, no major cracks.
To be safe I took the vent on my gas tank and just capped it off with a rubber nipple. I also added silicone to the grommet in case it wasnt sealing good anymore. I also took off my fuel pump assembley and siliconed the o ring it uses.
This car is a DD beater car I dont want to spend lots of money trying to fix.
This totally sucks. Any ideas on pinpointing the problem?

Thanks for the help guys. The old test was to just only test the cap, which I passed. The new test is also putting an adapter on the filler neck and apply low presure with gas vapors.
I found the leak! I pulled the bed again and found the molded filler neck hose with a huge crack in it. I dont know how I didnt see it the first time
