How much do you need? Is there a local source? I could probably bring a couple of extra gallons but I am on the second day and planned to drive out on Saturday. Let me know if you can't find another option

I can't find any source near where I am. There is a shop in Long Beach, but I cannot take time off work to go all the way there to get it in their opening hours. I'll like maybe 5 gal but you'll be arriving on the 2nd day

Anyone wanna swap spots with Brian on the first day?!?

Where is the shop? I have friday off and I'll be driving around LA a bit I think, I could potentially pick some up for you though I have no need for it.

I just realized that I don't have a MicroTech laptop adapter. I'm scheduled on sunday. Does anyone have one I can borrow while we're there? Or does steve have one of his own?

I would think Steve will have a spare laptop adapter. Try to contact him before he arrives in Socal this Friday!

Auguspaws, Thank you so much for your offer, however I require 100% meth. I appreciate your help.

Thanks for setting this up Lionel and thanks to Steve Kan for coming. I'm sorry it didn't work out so well for some of us, but I'm very happy with my car after Steve's tuning. The drivability was good before I thought but it's a lot better now. He tuned me very conservatively at 12 psi for 10.5-10.7 afrs and I made 280 rwhp. Dyno sheet is below, I don't have the torque curve yet:

Engine mods -
Stock ports, I rebuilt 4k miles ago, RA 2mm seals
Stock sequential twins
downpipe
bonez cat
rb dual tip catback
Power FC
Profec B spec ii
custom v-mount
99-spec y-pipe
K&N air filters and aluminum hardpipes
550 primary injectors
1550 secondary injectors
Denso supra turbo fuel pump
HKS twin power
BR9EQ leading and trailing
All I can think of for the moment...

Thanks again and good luck for those who are going tomorrow.

I had to put my original injectors back in and made it just in time at the end of the day while Max's car was wrapping up. Due to running my old injectors, steve couldn't make too much power difference compare to my last tune, but he smoothed out my powerband and fixed my low end idle problems. My injectors duty cycle were already at 95%, so Steve was only able to squeeze out 285.5 HP to the wheel at 12psi.

my mods are:
550cc/850cc injectors, NGK 7leading and 9 trailing plugs, 99spec turbos, y-pipe, HKS RS intake, RE-A SMIC, HKS twin power, PowerFC, downpipe, SMB hi-flow cat with resonator, St May ShotGun Exhaust.

Because i was last, both steve and I, forgot about my dyno print out... so i didn't get one.. T_T ...

You mean me, Max? I was right at 280 hp at 12 psi. Link, you might be able to get your dyno sheet if you call them down at RR&R and have someone email it to you.

We had no idea. Even Steve couldn't figure it out. He said he had never seen anything likr this before. He was tuning conservatively below 11 AR, temps were fine, the motor was going strong on the dyno almost 3 hours of tune before it happened. No signs of detonation. Motor was well built with new OEM seals, carefully broken in before the tune. The block was throughly inspected before the tune as were all the other components. Boost was no more than 14 pounds.

When they suspected something was wrong, a compression test was done and 2 seals in the rear rotors was gone. We are going to pull the motor in the next few days to see how bad things are inside.

Damn, that's very disheartening to know since I have to get tuned when I finish breaking in my motor.
