Hello everyone

I searched the forum for someone hosting a 626 Area Code meet but I have found nothing.

I was wondering, whether you have an Rx-7 or Miata or Any Mazda OR ANY CAR, if you would like to get together and join another weekly meet?

The current meet is usually open every Friday to anyone and everyone.
Its at a tea spot in Alhambra CA called CHA FOR TEA. Probably the best hours are around 9 -11? Then people start coming and going.

I just thought it would be cool to have an actually place for 7s since I see you guys around all the time but never been able to actually talk about the ROTARY....

Please let me know if any of you are interested!
And thanks for taking the time to look even if you are not!

I think i already know a couple people that are willing to go.

I talked to (rotormonster) he seemed more than happy to go before he moved.
I talked to an Intern at Lucky 7, he said some of those people would be willing to go.

I've been going to 626 meet since 2005 in my s14. Very cool people there as long as you keep the noise/speed down(basically don't be an asshat and rev your engine, do burnouts, etc) They have had to move the meet a few times because of idiots burning a spot and attracting cops, etc.

I haven't been there lately since I'm usually not sober enough to drive on Fri nights lol but I'd be down to go again.

HAHA Alhambra for a car meet? You're just looking for trouble in that city.

We use to meet at The Boat, the parking lot is a good size.

i am unsure what trouble you mean? If by trouble you mean a bunch of Asians with boba then yes! haha plenty of "trouble".

i just wanted to go over there cause they have a weekly meet, but if the boat works, that's good too. I live right next to there.

Count me in! Even if its just us two the meets gotta start somehow right?...

Ill go every friday. Just let me know the place and time. My buddy in a 944 will prob be down to. Its always good times just kicking it and having a bite or boba/drink.

So EL KENNY went with me last friday... turnout to the meet was scattered...
Everyone was kind of in their own Cliche...

If you could move it up to time to 7 or 8, might get more to join up with you as it would be a sitution to hang out waiting for typical eastbound Friday night 10 and 210 traffic to thin out.
