****Stolen RHD FD..Richmond,ca..Gary & Gus
Not really in CA the shop has the right to hold the car and put a lien on the car if you don't pay your bill. After 30-60 days the car becomes the shops. So legally the rights are with the shop. I have done this before as just about every shop owner I know. I even had a lien against some ones house before I almost ended up owning a 550,000 home over a 30,000 bill.

I agree but he didn't go that route. I'm just helping in getting his car back from these thieves.. All I want is to see the right thing done.. I can't believe pepole on this forum stick up for guys who get someones car to do work on and within a few days sell all his **** and this is acceptable? What is wrong with people. They just don't give a **** about other peoples ****. The car is not even done and it's for sale.. He has over 16k invested in this car prior to shipment. They have sold over 5k of parts from it already to people on this forum. It's all tracked..

It's gonna be funny when he waves the mechanics lien in your faces. If you don't pay for the work performed on your car you can lose it. That protects hard working mechanics from getting stiffed by ******** who don't like to pay for the services performed. I'm sure if your buddy squares up with these guys they'll give the car back. By the way- Richmond PD could give a **** less about a stolen car.

Did you even read the post? Gary and Gus starting parting out the car the same week the car was giving to them... explain that. I know for a fact they have made over 5k in parts.. The car isn't even done.. They will pay... you can count on that. Are people on this forum that stupid.. They don't give a **** about anyone else besides themselves. I think it's time to get rid of all my 7's and get a honda. At lest them guys stick together better than this ****..

if you really want to talk about proof, how about the fact that the very next day i got the car out. i left to go to hong kong and japan. from late dec to feb i was gone. so if gus is selling leo's stuff then again i have no involement in it.
