Just so you know the law. You can't hold a customers car captive if they havent' paid the bill. By law you are required to give the customer's car back and then have to take them to court to get your money back. I just found this out a week ago as I work at a large Mercedes dealership as a tech and this actually happened. It really sucks knowing that you just did all this work to a car and the customer doesn't have the money but they can still take their car without paying.

 

This is a total lie.. and the original owner has proof.. they tried to scam him and sold all his aftermarket parts on this forum.. They also tried to sell the car on craigslist.. He has given the alot of money and they just got greedy.. He has even send bank wires to them. It's all tracked...Explain this...Also the FBI will be getting involved now.. Their is a customs fraud issue that just was noticed from an attorney..More to come..
This guy Gus works out of his house and doesn't even have a buisness license..Talk about a scammer and thief..Gus and Gary are partners...The same thiefs..

if you really want to talk about proof, how about the fact that the very next day i got the car out. i left to go to hong kong and japan. from late dec to feb i was gone. so if gus is selling leo's stuff then again i have no involement in it.

What is the real story on this. If your buddy brought the car to Gary or gus to have a some thing done and didnt pay for it, the car should and will stay with Gary and gus. I don't know them at all but if it was me I would already have a lean against the car and it would become mine in 30-60 days. I have done it before as have my friends.

I think you need to do a little more explaining and a little less running your mouth about people going to jail. So far the only illegal thing I have seen in this thread is that your buddy didnt pay for a service and is trying to steal his car back without paying. If the other guys aren't liying they should put a lean on your buddys car and keep it, or sell it to recover the money owed to them.

 

My buddy gave the car to Gary and Gus and they agreed on a deal. The car is not finished and Gus will not return the car. The $$ thing is not a issue. The day they recieved the car they started to sell alot of the rare JDM items off the car..you think they were doing this because they were going to return the car? Come on.. Look at the facts.. Is he done with the car? No.. Do you pay for stuff before it's done? Gary and Gus are thiefs and I wil make sure they pay. It's not my car but I will bet anyone on this board they wil rot in jail one way or the other.. This is the car he shipped and now it looks like this.Where is all his parts Gary??? Explain this. Where did all the parts go in 2 weeks?? You think they are saving them? NO..They were sold on this forum 3 days after they got the car...If you want to stick up for thieves and scammers you can do so...
