FD RX7 '93 Subframe Reinforcement Mounting Brackets and Tubular Cross Braces

FD RX7's prior to 1994 lacked the additional subframe bracing that was available on later model years. They can be added (either factory tubular braces, aftermarket like Autoexe, or our JP3 Tubular Reinforcement Cross Brace set), but in order to do so, additional mounting points need to be welded on the rear subframe. There has been no bolt-on option until now!

These rear subframe mounting brackets are CNC laser cut and bent 10 gauge steel. The corner folded seam is TIG welded for a boxed out gusset. They are mounted via existing holes on the rear subframe (see photos and video) using the provided grade 10 M12 hardware. The enduser has the option to weld these in if so desired.

These brackets can be utilized with our rear meth pump and fuel filter mounts, however these mounts need to have their mounting holes reamed out to accommodate the M12 hardware.

NOTE: This listing is for just the reinforcement mounting brackets - tubular cross bracing in photos/video are sold separately.

Product feature list:
  • CNC laser cut and bent 10ga steel
  • TIG welded corner gusset for added strength
  • Satin black powdercoat
  • Grade 10 M12 zinc plated hardware

FD RX7's prior to 1994 lacked the additional subframe bracing that was available on later model years. This is our version of the tubular reinforcement cross bracing. They attach to the existing rear chassis bracing on the '93 models (which are missing the tubular component). In order to use these or any aftermarket reinforcement cross braces (like Autoexe), your car must either be a '94 and later or use our Rear Subframe Reinforcement Mounting Brackets.

These tubular reinforcement cross braces are comprised of 12ga 1" steel tubing which are TIG welded to CNC cut 10ga steel endplates. They are mounted via existing holes on the existing rear chassis bracing on the '93 models (see photos and video) using the provided grade 10 hardware. The enduser has the option to weld these in if so desired.

NOTE: This listing is for just the tubular cross brace set - mounting brackets in photos/video are sold separately.

Product feature list:
  • 12ga 1" steel tubing TIG welded to CNC laser cut and bent 10ga steel endplates
  • Satin black powdercoat
  • Grade 10 zinc plated hardware

Already ordered my subframe adapter bases! I had the OE braces waiting in a box hehe
There's an opportunity here to offer a twin tube triangulated brace too! Similar to Autoexe in function at a more affordable price maybe?
Sometimes we like overkill Specially when using a Uhaul hitch this extra bracing is useful!

will this work in conjunction with a Diff Brace as well? I have a 93 and want to get both for the car but not sure of compatibility
