The FD RX7 has enough room in the trunk to allow for stowage of things, however, it never came with a proper way to hold down cargo. If you've ever thrown a few things in the trunk and took a spirited drive, that cargo likely got thrown around. At best, it's just moving around back there, and at worst, some of the trunk plastics could have been damaged.

Well, here's our JP3-solution for this - custom designed brackets that hug the contours of the trunk plastics, use of the rear carpet and incorporates an OEM-grade elastic cargo mesh net. No cutting or drilling is required! The net has enough elasticity to wrap around most things you can fit in the trunk and has an inner pocket. In addition, the net itself can be oriented in numerous ways as you can see in the photos. The brackets also have an OEM touch with the inclusion of felt backing to protect the trunk plastics when mounted.

NOTE: The brackets require the use of OEM M6 studs in the trunk. When bolting them down, please ensure that any excess factory paint on the studs is removed to prevent cross threading. The M6 studs are required to mount the brackets - please review your car to ensure you still have them as they may have been removed/modified previously. Washers are included for the OEM M6 studs that have a lip to allow for flush mounting of the brackets. We still need to test on trunks equipped with the Bose wave speaker setup.
