tein flex on my ls1fc. I love 'em. I wanted the independent height adjustment separate from preload and the shortened stroke is nice because I always lower my cars 3" or so. it was nice to have their 2-way adjustments for corner balancing even though I barely need it, but every bit helps.
although, if I had it to do over again I'd either keep it really inexpensive with kyb agx+gc's or go all out and buy some lightweight aluminum bodied silkroad or zeal coilovers.

yeah you can run EDFC on the flex's... but if you dont have speakers in the rear towers (or if you make them easily removable) its so easy to adjust the shocks by hand.
I've ridden in FCs with kyb/gc setups and the mazdaspeed (koni/gc) setups and the mazdaspeed is incredibly well balanced and comfy yet firm, hard to explain but it is the ultimate, while it is pretty expensive. the kyb/gc setup was just as nice as the teins but not so good if you lower the car more than 2" because you run the risk of blowing a shock/strut, but the teins are safer with their shortened body units.

Tein, in my opinion is the best JDM coilover to have over here in states for several reasons. First and foremost they have proven themselves time and again (on shock dynos) to be valved appropriately to spring rate. I have seen shock dynos of Buddy Club and JIC coilovers that show a horribly mismatch damper.
Second is they are incredibly fast with their turn around in revalving them. They have a US location and that is a god send for anyone running their products.
I had Zeal B6 on my Integra type r...switched to the aluminum bodied Tein RE on the same car and loved them. Moved to an M3 and had to go with Koni/GC and it was ok but not in the same league as a full coilover (strut suspension hurt suspension choices in that case).
Now I have an FD with the Tein Flex coilovers, soon to be cornerbalanced, and they are great. Very compliant over rough road yet stiff enough to limit roll in the most demanding corners.
So I am sold on Tein. The EDFC is kind of a gimmick to me though. Who adjusts the damping on their coilovers very frequently? It is a street setting, then a track setting with maybe one adjustment along the way. Certainly not worth it in my opinion.
