Tres' 94 RX-7 6.7L Turbo Build
Build can be followed on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/JM1FD
Copy and paste from my ongoing build thread on norotors:
I found my 94 RX-7 on Craigslist and I drove to Illinois to pick it up. The car didn't run but the interior was as perfect as you can imagine. It's a base model with the 5 speed transmission and cloth seats. The car has 86k miles on it and the PO said it ran great until it died one day. He parked it in the garage for several months until I picked it up. It's completely stock with the addition of an HKS Hi-Power catback exhaust. Here's a picture of it on the way home:

I'll upload some more pictures tonight. They're currently on my other computer.
As far as plans go, I originally wanted to do a basic swap with an LS3 pullout but after thinking about it for a few weeks, I knew I would eventually want more power and I decided to do it the first time. I've already picked up a TR6060 from a 2010 Camaro and a completely built and forged 408 LQ4 (Callies 4" crank, Callies h beam rods, Wiseco pistons, AFR 225 heads). The current plan is to rear mount an 80+mm turbo and use a Samberg/Ronin subframe, Ronin Explorer differential and Circuit Specialist harness. The engine will be controlled by an AEM Infinity.
So far, I've pulled some of the stuff out of the engine bay but I plan to have the entire drivetrain out this weekend. I'll keep you guys updated but it's going to be one heck of journey
Not much of an update but I was working on pulling the motor out last night and I didn't have a 21mm deep socket for the PPF. This write-up has been extremely helpful:
Rotary Resurrection home of the budget rebuild.
The engine will be out tonight!

Got the differential off last night. Ran into a couple of problems.
The wheels were frozen to the disc and I had to use a mallet on the back side of the tires to get the wheels off.
I also misplaced my pry bar and I had to run to Walmart and get another one to pry the axles out of the differential.
Overall, a pretty easy removal.
Progress is slow but I'm getting some work done. I got the motor and I picked up an Explorer differential. I pulled apart more of the body and next week I'm going to have the dash out so I can send the harness to Circuit Specialists.
I also got a pair of burnout fender flares but I'm going to sell them in favor of a FEED kit.

Haven't had much time lately but I got a chance to work on more of the interior last night. Removed the HVAC and firewall harness.
Also got a box from Ronin Speedworks last month that I'll break into this weekend!
I also sold the TR6060 I picked up from a 2010 Camaro in favor of a built Level VI TR6060 from RPM Transmissions.
Got the rear subframe pulled last night. The axles were seized to the hubs so I pulled them out as one assembly and I'll have to get them pressed out. Other than that, everything went pretty well!
