It's interesting how many threads end up where this one is...

If the truth be known Matt (roachdiddy) is a super cool guy. He is going down a path with his car that few have attempted. I think when its complete the car is going to be awesome...Matt will probably be answering lots of questions from many RX7 owners in the future who are wanting to drop a 2JZ under the hood...

Oh and by the way I want to drive the car once it's complete.....

Ga-huh, yah sure, that's what we're all wishing.

No, all that anyone wanted was a straight answer on how far the steering rack was moved, but even the dipshit who owns the car doesn't know, and now we have some stupid **** with a handful of posts telling us how jealous we are of this project. Does that about sum it up?

how about this??? when the project is all done. I will pull it up to my other rx7 and measure 10 diff ways to get you and exact number on how far/if at all the steering rack has moved??? does that work for you?

Getting popcorn....

BUT, I do like the car and am interested too in seeing how the bump steer works out for you. Many people have tried this before, none (to my knowledge) have been successful and I’m sure that is what is driving the skepticism from others in the post.

Why would you wait until the project is done and then figure out how you changed your steering geometry? Why don't you know something that important now?

2nd..... what do you drive??
Do your own research.

Precisely. The 2JZ either fits under the hood and the steering rack moves, or the steering rack stays where it is and the engine hangs out of the hood. You can't have it both ways.

Do you feel better now that you got your worthless little opinion posted for everyone to see?

Good. Now go play in the lounge where you belong.

roachdiddy:I love the swap. It looks nice and I can guarantee it'll be very fast/make nice power when it's all done. I love the 2JZ engine and the body of the RX-7; what better combo. Keep up the hard work and keep us all posted on the progress.

JimLab: Your project is no closer to the road than roach's regardless of his ignorance. You don't "drive" anything comparable, nor does he. Nice pissing contest though. Youre both grade A douchbags.

Then why not say so instead of "the steering rack was moved in mm, if moved at all. so no compensation needed"?

I can see you've come a long way in the year or so you've been around. How's that 20B swap coming, BTW?

Barban: You're still an ignorant ****, and this has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with comparing cars or projects. Thanks for trying.

You are very welcome, sir. I am sure the online community's hatred for you is rivaled only in your personal relationships.

I wish I knew you personally. It would be interesting to see what an intellect as prodigious as yours is capable of when you're not squandering it by making asinine posts in a forum you have no real business in, but apparently can't stay away from...
